Effective Training For Climbers

Your fingers will first become stronger by just climbing, but there is a limit. Even when you have a perfect climbing technique and you are gifted with a certain amount of natural strength, there is a point when strength becomes the limiting factor.

Climbing with a weight belt might be a technique to develop more hand strength but could negatively effect your climbing technique. Therefore the most effective training tool for your hand strength is a hangboard. You can develop upper-body strength, hand strength and endurance with a hangboard at home. And all of this with a close specificy to climbing movements.  You develop the strength which you need to perform for climbing.
